Bad pizza from the Boardwalk. But I make it look good, huh? It was, while it was warm. Ricotta, spinach, tomato, and cheese on bad bread. It was freaking cold outside, and we needed something to warm us up. This was the best we could do.
PF CHANGS @ the Tropicana in AC
I finally go to a PF Changs and it’s in Jersey of all places. It wasn’t bad! I’ve heard both good and bad things about this place. I really liked the interior design of the place and the food was actually good. We ordered chicken lettuce wraps, veggie lettuce wraps, and crab wonton. The lettuce wraps were delicious and felt somewhat healthy minus the sauce. Crab wonton were okay. There was a lot of fried wonton, and then some stuffed crab with cheese at the end… very end.
I ordered the pan seared lamb, which had the after taste of gorgonzola cheese. I could imagine this lamb would be paired really well with gorgonzola. MM. Everyone got different dishes and we did it family style. ohhhhh yeaaaaah. mmhmm, this is how we do it. It was actually really cute because everyone passed their main entrée dishes around the table. At one point we added on our own dish to whoever was sending down theirs because they were so far away. The lamb was good. The fried rice was okay. I loved the orange chicken, not too heavy, just right. The Mongolian beef was excellent and it’s the featured dish at the restaurant. Someone’s tofu dish was pretty good too. All in all, this restaurant was a good deal, we split it between the 8 of us and ended up paying around $18-19 each including tax and gratuity, more if you got drinks at the table. How great is that considering we had appetizers too?
Great trip. Great food (minus bread of pizza). Great place. Great weather. Most importantly, great company. ❤
